2016 Chevrolet Camaro Overview

If you're like the rest of us here at Felix Sabates Chevrolet Cadillac, you've been eagerly awaiting the release of the new 2016 Chevy Camaro. Well, although the all-new Camaro isn't available just yet, we're happy to announce the next best thing. The folks at Chevy headquarters have released the new 2016 Camaro visualizer, to give you a virtual peak at what this amazing muscle car will look like, both inside and out.

Using the visualizer, you can see just what the sixth generation of the iconic Chevy Camaro is going to look like. You can even see it from different angles, and customize the color and interior features to fit your personal style. You can also check out the different wheels, trims, ground effects and graphics that are available. And if you have a good enough imagination, you can probably even see yourself sitting in the driver's seat!

Exterior Features

For 2016 the all-new Camaro will be offered in Coupe and Convertible body styles. Although the new Camaro may look familiar, the fact is that almost every piece and panel is new from the ground up. It has lower and slimmer proportions, while also adding more softened edges than the previous fifth generation car. Exterior features include 4 different graphics packages including rally stripes, racing strips, front fender hash-marks, and body side "spear" graphics. It will also have a blade-style spoiler, and a total of 6 different grill inserts for LT and SS model customization.

Interior Features

As you can see from the visualizer, the interior of the new Camaro is completely redesigned as well. It has a more detailed cockpit, with more available features and adjustments. It will also have door inserts and side knee pads that can be color-coordinated. The seats are adjustable to lower positions and have more firmness than before. The dashboard itself wraps around the cockpit in a more flowing and organic way, giving the feeling that you're readying for takeoff. And everywhere you look the quality of the materials used is obvious.

Technology Features

There's no doubt that this is the most technologically advanced Camaro that Chevy has ever built. It has a wealth of new features, like the all new Drive Mode Selector that can adjust for 4 different driving modes and 8 unique handling attributes. There are also available dual 8-inch high-definition screens, an exclusive led ambient lighting system, and all of the convenience features you would expect to find in a sport-inspired muscle car.

Trim Levels

The 2016 Camaro will come in coupe and convertible body styles, and LT or SS trims. There will also be an RS package for the LT models that adds 20-inch wheels and dual-mode exhaust. The LT coupe or convertible will be available with either the 2.0-liter turbo or the 3.6-liter V6, while the SS will be offered exclusively with the massive 6.2-liter V8.

Here at Felix Sabates Chevrolet we're eagerly awaiting the arrival of this newest generation muscle car, but for the time being we'll have to remain satisfied with the Camaro Visualizer.
