Miami Dolphins Special Teams

As any NFL fan knows, special teams can make or break a football game. Here at Felix Sabates Chevrolet Cadillac, we’re proud to say that the Miami Dolphins Special Teams volunteer organization is making a difference in communities all over South Florida. We’re also proud that Chevrolet is a sponsor of such a great team of volunteers through the Special Teams Driven by Chevrolet program, serving more than 200 charitable and civic organizations throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

The Miami Dolphins Special Teams Driven by Chevy volunteers provide support and assistance at Miami Dolphins Foundation events, in addition to helping with fundraisers and other activities. Some of the many events these dedicated volunteers take part in include:

  • Dolphins Cycling/Cancer Challenge – What started as the Dolphins Cycling Challenge in 2010 has now become the Dolphins Cancer Challenge. Special Teams Driven by Chevy volunteers have supported this fundraising event since its inception, and to date the team has raised more than $11 million for cancer research at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
  • 9/11 National Day of Service – The Special Teams Driven by Chevy volunteers take part in the National Day of Service by collecting and packing care packages to be sent to our military service members serving overseas. You can join in this year by helping to make these care packages, or by sending in a donation to help this worthy cause.
  • Komen Race for the Cure – Miami – The Susan G. Komen Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Race for the Cure will take place on October 17th 2015. It is the 20th anniversary of the Race in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area. The participants are dedicated to raising money to find a cure for breast cancer.
